Depending on what ypes of wine you enjoy, there are several more wine tasting rooms that we may visit. Our choices include (1) Vino Zona, nestled amoung the cobblestone walkways of Tlaquapaque connecting the area's unique shops, boutiques, and galleries. While there, you have the option of a white, red, or sweet wine flight, again getting to explore wines from all across the AZ state; (2) The Art of Wine located in theHyatt Pinion Pointe Shops. Jonathan, Lauren, and Brian, and there friendly staff will educate you about the wines that make Arizona such a vibrant wineproducing state. You'll get to enjoy either a white, red, sweet, or mead flight; (3) Winery 1912 where you'll get to enjoy the flavors of John McLoughlin's wine making talent. Enjoy not only the wines but stunning views of Munds Mountain and Snoopy Rock; (4) Vino Di Sedona, where you get to enjoy a large selection of wines and meads from all across the state. For those of you who enjoy chocolate, we make a chocolate stop because everyone knows that chocolate compliments wine and wine compliments chocolate! We will take you to our favorite chocolate shop, Synergy Sedona where you will get to enjoy raw artisian handmade chocolate made right here in Sedona. It's absolutely delicious and makes the wine taste even better.

Did you know that there are almost 30 vineyard and tasting room locations with 25 miles of Sedona? Now don't get your hopes up, we can't go to all of them, but what we can and will do is take you to the places that have the most suitable wines based on your palate. We may head to Cornville to vist DA Ranch, Oak Creek Vineyard, or Javelina Leap Vineyard. Perhaps, you have heard of Jerome? It's an old copper mining town, rich with history. What's that have to do with wine you say? Well there are six wine tasting rooms there including two owned by a rock star. We have Cellar 433, Caduceus Cellars, Four Eight Wineworks, Passion Cellars / Salvatore Vineyards, Cabel Vineyard, and Vino Zona. While in Jerome, you will have an array of magnificent wines to choose from as well as making this your lunch spot. We recommend The Haunted Hamburger, the best burger in the state, and yes the restaurant is haunted.

If ghosts and spirits kind of freak you out, therre is no need to worry, we got plenty more places to choos from to enjoy delicious wine. Maybe we'll take you to Old Town Cottonwood where you can enjoy the wines of Arizona Stronghold, Merkin Vineyard and Wine Tasting Osteria, Burning Tree Cellars, Tantrum Winery, Winery 101, Pillsbury Wine Company, or Carson Creek Vineyard. Each location offering a diverse selection of wines as well as food options. If you enjoy pasta, we recommend the handmade pasta at Merkin, it's delicious. Pair that with their Tarzan Red, and your day is getting absolutely better.

Now I know some of you are thinking about now, how are we to ever decide where qwe are to go. No need to worry about that. You knowledgeable guide will take you to the places with the most appropiate wines for your palate and interests.

And I don't wish to forget about some of the wines coming out of Clarkdale. Here you have Chateau Tumbleweed. You gotta check out their wine labels, each one is a creative drawing of a tumbleweed. Ands the wines are delicious. Then there's the Southwest Wine Center and Bodega Pierce Winery, both making some unique wines only to be found here in Arizona.

Now for you beer drinkers, we do have the option to go to Oak Creek Brewery or THAT Brewery, both of which is brewing some quite delicious beers.

This is about that same time some of you may be winding down. Well at this point you would have had your chance to enjoy local wine, beer, chocolate, and food. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon in Sedona. When we drop you back off at your hotel or vacation rental we can recommend close by hotels, restaurants, and eateries. For example Cucina Rustica is the best Italian food in town and offers delicious food to complete your day.

Everything about this excursion was excellent! We booked a private tour including our dog, Finley. Jim picked us up on time at our hotel. His vehicle was perfect for our small group and he was well prepared to store the wine we purchased in coolers. We shared with Jim the wines we liked and he chose Oak Farm and Cove Mesa to visit. They were perfect! At Cove Mesa, the owners actually spent time with us and in addition to our flight, offered for us to taste a not yet released varietal. It is very evident that Jim has excellent relationships with the wineries, as they were very welcoming, allowed us to taste member-only wines, and gave us great case discounts. We will definitely book Jim for future excursions.

I highly recommend this tour company! Ed was an amazing guide and we loved our winery tour for my friend's birthday. Ed was knowledgeable and flexible and we enjoyed his company. We had a great time! If you are into hiking and other outdoor activities, Ed can give you all the infornation you need. We appreciated the insight. However, I strongly suggest you disregard any recommendations for Dahl and Diluca restaurant. That place has abhorrent service and couldn't care less about patrons. If you want to enjoy good vibes, take this winery tour...and avoid Dahl and Diluca if you want to maintain your good headspace and be treated with respect! 😉

My husband and a friend and I did this wine tour together in the Fall in Sedona, and it was absolutely perfect! Jim was an excellent tour guide, and curated a special day for us! First, we stopped to get some special chocolates to eat with our wine tastings. Then we started at a beautiful local winery named Alcantara, which was just a lovely place to sit and enjoy the fall - but also had delicious wines! Next we went to have dinner and wine at the Merkin Vineyard on the hill in Cottonwood - such a special place to visit! Last we checked out Redwall distillery in Sedona, which was a lovely way to end the day! The choices of places to visit were very eclectic, and suited every palate. Jim was an excellent host/tour guide, and made sure all of our needs were met. He also took MANY pictures for us, so that we didn’t need to take pictures ourselves, and therefore could be more present in the experience. We had the best day! I highly recommend Wine Tours of Sedona!

We went on the Date Night Tour to DA Ranch and dinner at Up the Creek. We cannot rave enough about how wonderful the experience was! DA Ranch is beautiful and the wine tasting was exceptional...we bought a few bottles, of course! Dinner was very good with lots of options! Ed was a fabulous tour guide...respectful of our privacy but always there when it was appropriate and very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great night!

What a perfect day! In spite of the morning rain/snow/sleet/hail, Juan was prompt, informative, humorous and a natural guide. He balances professionalism with personal interaction, creating lively conversation from everyone. We had a wonderful hike with Ed. We hiked various trails in Red Rock State Park. Ed provided a great overview of the history of Sedona, and the surrounding area. The hike was moderate - not to easy, not to difficult. Lunch at Layla's Bakery-Cafe was spot on at the end of hike. It was a good day! Thank you Ed.

My husband, our dog Manny, and I recently enjoyed a chocolate, wine, and beer tour with Wine Tours of Sedona. It was my birthday and we thought that this would be the perfect way to celebrate. We chose this company because they welcomed dogs and even provided a discount for bringing them. We were picked up by Jim Reich the owner and his associate Edward Benoit. We had an absolutely wonderful day, first stopping at Chocolatree for some yummy chocolates to take with us, then on to DA Ranch winery where we sat outside and enjoyed their delicious wines (accompanied by the chocolate) amid beautiful scenery. Next stop was lunch at Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room & Osteria for more wine tasting and wonderful bread and pasta. Next, we went to Vino Zona where a very informative gentleman, Josh, poured several wine tastings for us (husband decided to forgo the beer since it was my birthday and I am more of a wine drinker). To end this wonderful day, Jim brought in a piece of my favorite kind of cake for my birthday. Both Jim and Ed were wonderful company; very informative and really fun to be around. They also personalized the experience asking what we liked and giving us choices on where to go. It made for a fabulous experience and a memorable birthday. Highly recommend!

Our guide Josh was attentive and sweet. He was very knowledgeable about the wineries and even the wines we were trying out. Unfortunately when we went it was a rainy day so we didn't get to do any outdoor tours but all in all it was a very nice day. The only negative I would say is that it's pricey.

The best wine tour Jim, by far, gives the best wine tours. Picked us up on time, took us to get chocolates to enjoy with the various wines, then proceeded to take us to four different wine tasting locations. Jim is well versed in all the different types of Arizona wines and can expertly compare them to wines from other regions. Jim was totally flexible in executing our tour to fit what we wanted in the moment. Also, Jim provided factoids about the various sites along the tour. Most places in Arizona do not ship wine to Texas but Jim had a solution - he had a sturdy cooler available for purchase so that we could take back wine on our flight back to Texas. As a result, we now have several bottles of Arizona wine to enjoy at home. We will definitely go back and take another tour from Jim so that we can experience more of the Arizona wine country.

Our tour was personalized just for us and we brought our dog along which is encouraged by Jim, the owner. He actually gives a 10% discount when you bring your dog. Nolan was our guide and he is fantastic. We saw so many interesting and beautiful things in 3 hours. He picked up on what we wanted to see and do and he was spot on. We learned so many interesting facts about Sedona. We asked him about hikes and restaurants in Sedona and after the tour we took one of the hikes and had dinner at one of the restaurants. Both great recommendations. Nolan took a lot of pictures of us which we received, via email, the same day. We cannot recommend Wine Tours of Sedona more highly.

Our guide, Morgan was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He picked us up and brought us back to our resort. We did the 3 hour tour, which was all we had time for so we only visited 2 wineries but he chose wineries with wines we enjoyed. We visited with friends and we were the only ones on the tour; it wasn't a "cookie cutter" tour with tons of people we didn't know. Just us and our guide. I would highly recommend this tour.

Awesome experience! We didn't have the highest expectations of Arizona wine, but our guide Morgan took us to all of the best spots, and the wine was great. He also has experience working in Napa, so we quickly came to trust his taste in wine and vineyards (and learned a ton). All in all, one of the highlights of our trip, and would definitely do it again! Make sure to request Morgan if you get the chance.

							I highly recommend this tour company! Ed was an amazing guide and we loved our winery tour for my friend's birthday. Ed was knowledgeable and flexible and we enjoyed his company. We had a great time! If you are into hiking and other outdoor activities, Ed can give you all the infornation you need. We appreciated the insight. However, I strongly suggest you disregard any recommendations for Dahl and Diluca restaurant. That place has abhorrent service and couldn't care less about patrons. If you want to enjoy good vibes, take this winery tour...and avoid Dahl and Diluca if you want to maintain your good headspace and be treated with respect! 😉
