Sedona's Scenic Wine Country Tours

This is a five hour tour and includes wine sampling from 3-4 of the above mentioned tasting rooms.

Afterwards, you and your loved one will enjoy a complete dinner at Up the Creek, a fine establishment also in the Page Springs area, literally across the creek from DA Ranch.  Dinner includes a wine tasting flight, an appetizer, a dinner entree, a desert item, and a glass of wine.

Expect your guide to be with you during your wine tasting experience, for they serve you the wines while educating about the area. Of course, if you want one on one time with your partner, please let us know and we are happy to accommodate you in any way we can. Dinner will be just one on one with you and your date, with your guide nearby if you need anything.

In addition to the private nature of the tour and wonderful dinner, this tour also includes a complimentary box of chocolates artisanally crafted in Sedona.

This 5-hour tour allows you to get a taste of the different wines and winemaking styles of the wines made along the Verde Valley Wine Trail by both DA Ranch and the sister winery, Chateau Tumbleweed, all while experiencing the soothing and abundant surroundings that Oak Creek and the Verde River greenbelts create.

Perhaps you have heard of Jerome? It's an old copper mining town, rich with history. What's that have to do with wine you say? Well there are six wine tasting rooms there including two owned by a rock star. We have Cellar 433, Caduceus Cellars, Four Eight Wineworks, Passion Cellars / Salvatore Vineyards, Cabel Vineyard, and Vino Zona. While in Jerome, you will have an array of magnificent wines to choose from as well as making this your lunch spot. We recommend The Haunted Hamburger, the best burger in the state, and yes, the restaurant is haunted. If ghosts and spirits kind of freak you out, there is no need to worry, we have plenty more places to choose from to enjoy delicious wine.

Maybe we'll take you to Old Town Cottonwood where you can enjoy the wines of Arizona Stronghold, Merkin Vineyard and Wine Tasting Osteria, Burning Tree Cellars, Tantrum Winery, Winery 101, Pillsbury Wine Company, or Carson Creek Vineyard. Each location offers a diverse selection of wines as well as food options. If you enjoy pasta, we recommend the handmade pasta at Merkin, it's delicious. Pair that with their Tarzan Red, and your day is getting absolutely better. Now, I know some of you are thinking, how are we to ever decide where we are to go. No need to worry about that. Your knowledgeable guide will take you to the places with the most appropriate wines for your palate and interests.

And we don't wish to forget about some of the wines coming out of Clarkdale. Here you have Chateau Tumbleweed. You gotta check out their wine labels, each one is a creative drawing of a tumbleweed. And the wines are delicious. Then there's the Southwest Wine Center and Bodega Pierce Winery, both making some unique wines only to be found here in Arizona.

Now, for those who enjoy good brew, we do have the option to go to Oak Creek Brewery or THAT Brewery, both of which are brewing some quite delicious beers. As the tour winds down, you will have had your chance to enjoy local wine, beer, chocolate, and food. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon in Sedona.

For those wishing to really learn more about Arizona wines, this is the perfect tour for you. Enjoy wines from grapes grown all across the state. Discover unique blends that are only found here. Personally, as the owner of Wine tours of Sedona Burning Tree Cellars is one of my absolute favorite wineries inn the area! Their wines are amazing. Then across the street you have Arizona Stronghold, the state’s largest vineyard, owned by Eric Glomoski who also owns Page Springs Cellars. Sam Pillsbury has a fine red, white, and sweet selection at Pillsbury Winery. Prior to making wine, he was a Hollywood movie director. Then you have Winery 101 and Carlson Creek Vineyards. And the newest tasting room to open up is Tantrum Wines with a wonderful selection of wines and unique flare to their tasting room. If you are hungry, we highly recommend Merkin Vineyards and Wine Tasting Osteria where they have delicious handmade pasta and the entire selection of Arizona’s Merkin Vineyards line of wines. I recommend the Tarzan Red, an absolutely delicious Tempranillo. 

This three hour tour allows you to enjoy two wine tasting flights from the tasting rooms above, and you may add lunch or dinner to further compliment your experience.

Due to the private nature of our tours, this tour is custom designed to you, your palate, interests, and what you are in the mood for on the day of your tour. Whether it be local vineyard locations, the fantastic wines at Chateau Tumbleweed, or anything else in-between; we have you tour covered to not only meet your interests but exceed your expectations. 

This seven hour gives you ample time to enjoy wine tasting flights from up to five different locations. Of course because it is a long tour, we do offer lunch and dinner options for an additional charge. No substitutions will be made.

If you are providing the transportation and driver, this is a great value because you get 30% off our normal rates, yet still get the benefit of our educated guides who will share everything they know about the area’s wine, vineyards, micro- breweries, and more. Plus, based on the tour your choose, your wine tasting flights, beer flights, raw chocolates, lunch and dinner options (must opt for lunch or dinner) are all included in your tour experience.
