Jim ReichWelcome from Jim

Season’s Greetings Friends!

It’s hard to believe that the holidays are here again. Wine Tours of Sedona has been fortunate to thrive and continue to grow regardless of the challenges we’ve shared since 2020. That’s not to say it’s been easy but the journey has been blessed by the wonderful people we’ve served who really enjoy not only the beauty of Sedona but the food, wine and community our business is fortunate to be a part of. After nearly 20 years in business, I’m happy to continue sharing my passion for wine and Sedona.

I hope you’ll enjoy the information offered here as we provide another heartfelt service to our global community that values all Sedona has to offer whether Sedona wines or Sedona breweries…especially the rich wine culture developing in our area that we are thrilled to feature.

Thank you for your support and may your holiday season be fervent, delicious, healthy and graced with laughter, love, family and friendship.

May 2023 be blessed for us all.

With Gratitude,
Jim

Dec 2022: Featured Vineyard

WINE IN SEDONA
Featured Vineyard: DA Vines

John and Linda Rachel started their winemaking journey in 2004 when they moved from Sedona to Paige Springs which is just outside of town. John’s observation of a neighbor growing a half-acre of Merlot got his “juices” flowing with a desire to learn about viticulture through Yavapai College’s Southwest Wine Center and by 2014 he and Linda produced their first vintage of Merlot, named DA Sharecropper, utilizing the harvest from their neighbors grow. By 2017, John and Racel dove in to grow their own vines and Da Ranch Winery was born and named DA Vines.

Today their Sedona wines include Montepulciano, Termranillo, Graciano, and Cabernet Sauvignon having added their unique flair to the growing Sedona wine culture. They offer happy hour Wednesday through Saturday from 4pm to 5pm and live music every Saturday night from 5pm to 7pm. Their beautiful Old Town Cottonwood Tasting Room features a cozy lounge seating area and boasts a dog-friendly patio with a French Bistro menu crafted specifically for their 100% Arizona wine.

They offer a free membership to their wine club with two options: Devotee or Collector and members receive selected wines on a quarterly basis. If you’ll be in Phoenix in January of 2023, DA Vines will be at The Arizona Wine Festival at Heritage Square.

When touring Sedona, we highly recommend checking out DA Vines for their wine tasting in Cottonwood and we at Wine Tours of Sedona hope to be your guide!

Check out more details at https://davinesvineyard.com and feel free to tell them that Jim from Wine Tours of Sedona recommended you.
